purchased credit card relationships (PCCR)
the premium paid to acquire established credit card accounts from a financial institution. Buyers pay a premium over the dollar value of the credit card accounts themselves in order to acquire the customer loyalty in an established line of business. The premium is listed on the books as an intangible asset.
